FCRA Compliance — Permissible Purpose & Firm Offer of Credit
RMA Data Plus provides prescreen and credit-data services regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Access to and use of consumer credit data obtained through our services is restricted to clients with a legally recognized permissible purpose as defined under 15 U.S.C. § 1681b. Prescreen lists may only be used in connection with a bona fide Firm Offer of Credit or Insurance meeting all applicable FTC/CFPB guidance. Clients are solely responsible for compliance with FCRA adverse-action notice requirements, opt-out obligations (1-888-5-OPTOUT), and all other applicable federal and state credit-reporting laws. Use of RMA Data Plus data for any purpose outside the stated permissible purpose is strictly prohibited. Note: This notice is provided as a general template and should be reviewed by counsel prior to final publication.
